Wild Embers are fully committed to safeguarding the welfare of all vulnerable adults, children and young people by taking all reasonable steps to protect them from harm.

 

What is Safeguarding?

Safeguarding means protecting a person’s health, well-being and human rights; enabling them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect.

 

What Should I do if suspect a child is at risk of harm or neglect?

Please tell a member of Wild Embers staff, our Safeguarding Lead is Richard Scofield, and our deputy Safeguarding Lead is Alex Gostwick.

All safeguarding matters will be dealt with confidentially, professionally and in conjunction with local authorities and safeguarding teams where necessary.

A. SO THAT WE CAN SEND YOU NEWSLETTERS ABOUT WILD EMBERS UPDATES, ANY RELEVANT COURSES OR EVENTS THAT WE MAY BE RUNNING.

Q. HOW WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE USED? 
A. YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE STORED SECURELY AND USED BY US TO SEND YOU NEWSLETTERS AND INFORMATION ABOUT COURSES AND EVENTS.

Q. WHO WILL WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH? 
A. NOBODY. WE DO NOT, AND NEVER WILL, SHARE OR SELL YOUR INFORMATION WITH ANY THIRD PARTIES.

A. YOU CAN CONTACT US AND ASK TO SEE WHAT INFORMATION WE HOLD ON YOU, YOU CAN THEN REQUEST FOR THAT INFORMATION TO BE EDITED AND ALSO TO BE ‘FORGOTTEN’, WHICH IS WHERE WE WILL DELETE PERMANENTLY ALL DATA THAT WE HOLD ON YOU. YOU CAN UNSUBSCRIBE AT ANY TIME TO OUR MAILING LISTS.
