Wild Adventurers is Wild Embers' outdoor holiday club for children aged 6–12 who love getting outside, trying new things and exploring the natural world.

 

Based at the stunning setting of Pondfields Living Projects, Dartington, children will spend their days exploring the waterways, building dens, lighting campfires, creating woodland crafts, playing games, and making lasting memories with friends.

Our experienced team creates a welcoming, supportive environment where children can build confidence whilst developing practical outdoor skills.

Who is Wild Adventurers For?

​

Wild Adventurers is designed as an outdoor holiday club for children aged 6–12 and operates with a ratio of up to 15 children to 3 adults.

​

While our team has experience supporting a wide range of children, we are not currently able to provide the enhanced staffing ratios and specialist support required by some children with complex SEND needs.

​

We encourage families to contact us before booking if they would like to discuss their child's needs and whether Wild Adventurers is likely to be a good fit for them.

Information for Families

​

In previous years, Wild Embers has delivered specialist holiday provision for children requiring higher levels of support. This was made possible through National Lottery funding, which enabled us to provide significantly enhanced staffing ratios and tailored support.

​

Unfortunately, this funding has now come to an end and we have not yet secured replacement funding to continue this provision during Summer 2026.

​

We understand this may be disappointing for families who have attended and benefited from these programmes. Please be assured that we remain committed to creating accessible outdoor opportunities for all children and are actively seeking funding that would enable us to offer enhanced-support holiday provision again in the future.
