Wild Adventurers
Holiday Club

At Wild Embers, our holiday clubs are all about creating safe, joyful outdoor experiences where children can explore, play, and build confidence in nature.

In recent years we have offered two different holiday clubs to help meet children where they are.

Wild Adventurers has been our mixed outdoor holiday club, with staffing ratios suited to children who are able to take part without additional support. Alongside this, we run our SEND Holiday Club, which has smaller group sizes and additional staff so that children with a range of needs can be supported more closely.

Over time we have found that more children attending Wild Adventurers have additional needs that haven’t always been shared with us at the point of booking. While we always do our best to support every child, the staffing structure for Wild Adventurers isn’t designed to safely meet a wide range of support needs within one group.

Because of this, we’ve decided to pause Wild Adventurers for now while we take some time to review how this provision works.
This pause will allow us to consider how we can best support all children and families in the future, while making sure our team can provide the care, attention, and safety every child deserves.

Our SEND Holiday Club continues to run with the appropriate staffing and support, and our commitment to inclusive outdoor experiences remains at the heart of everything we do.

We’ll share updates about Wild Adventurers and the Summer holidays as soon as our review is complete.

Thank you for your understanding while we take this time to make sure our holiday programmes work well for everyone.
A Pause for Wild Adventurers
Holiday Club FAQs
Why is Wild Adventurers currently paused?
We are reviewing how the club runs to make sure that staffing levels and group structures allow us to safely support all children attending.
Is Wild Adventurers ending permanently?
No decisions have been made yet. We are reviewing the programme and will share updates once we have a clear plan for future holiday clubs.
Why does Wild Embers run different holiday clubs?
Children have different needs, and our clubs are designed to make sure everyone receives the right level of support. Our SEND Holiday Club has smaller groups and additional staff so that children who need more support can fully take part and feel comfortable.
Why is it important to share information about my child’s needs when booking?
Knowing about a child’s needs helps us plan the right staffing, activities, and support so that they can have the best possible experience with us.
When will you announce Summer holiday plans?
We hope to share an update once our review is complete. Please keep an eye on our website or social media for announcements.
