Our Support Services

Our Support Services

At Wild Embers, we provide flexible, relationship-led support for children and young people who may be struggling within traditional educational settings or who require additional SEND support.

Working through individual programmes, we create opportunities for children to build confidence, develop skills, improve wellbeing, and experience success through meaningful outdoor experiences.

Alternative Provision - Transitional Support Programme

Our Alternative Provision, Transitional Support Programme (TSP) supports children and young people who are unable to fully access mainstream education, or children and young people experiencing periods of change, challenge, or uncertainty.

Our TSP provides targeted support, whether a child is preparing to return to school, transitioning between settings, or requiring additional emotional support, our experienced team provides consistent, nurturing relationships that help young people feel safe, connected, and ready to move forward.

Programmes are designed around individual goals and outcomes, with regular communication provided to families and referring professionals.

Using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, we work alongside schools, local authorities, and families to provide engaging outdoor learning experiences that promote emotional wellbeing, social development, resilience, and confidence.

Every programme is tailored to the needs of the individual learner and designed to complement their educational journey.

What we offer...

1:1 and 2:1 Specialist SEND Support

Some children require a higher level of support to feel safe, regulated, and able to engage.

Our specialist SEND provision offers both 1:1 and 2:1 support for children and young people with complex needs, including those with autism, ADHD, learning differences, SEMH needs, sensory processing differences, and communication challenges.

Working at the child's pace, our team creates personalised experiences that build trust, confidence, independence, emotional regulation, and social skills.

Support can be delivered as part of an ongoing programme or through short-term interventions tailored to specific outcomes.

EHCP Evidence and Progress Reporting

Wild Embers can provide detailed written reports to support Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) assessments, annual reviews, and wider SEND planning processes.

Our reports draw upon direct observations, progress monitoring, and evidence gathered through our work with children and young people.

This service is available for:

  • Children currently attending our Transitional Support Programme (TSP)

  • Children who have accessed Wild Embers SEND services and programmes

  • Families and professionals requiring additional evidence to support EHCP processes
